Dr. Manish Pandey is the Acting Dean of Graduate Studies and a Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Winnipeg. He is also the Acting Associate Vice-President, International.

Dagmawit Habtemariam is the Â鶹´«Ã½ and Student Tracking Officer in the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Winnipeg. Dagm joined the Faculty of Graduate Studies in 2011. Previously and prior to moving to Canada, she worked in different positions such as Program/Project/Training Coordinator positions for UN Women, Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention and Unity University in Ethiopia. Dagmawit completed her M.A. in Social Anthropology from Addis Ababa University, B.A. in Human Rights from UWinnipeg and B.Ed. in History from Kotebe Metropolitan University (formerly Kotebe College of Teacher Education).

Kent Suss serves as the Budget, Programs, and Priorities Officer in the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Winnipeg. He supports the work of all graduate programs and committees while trying to keep a cool head. He has a background in arts administration and has invested many years into teaching art and drama to young people. He believes that art is for everyone, and, given the right environment and tools, you can learn to do anything.
When he isn’t helping make the Faculty of Grad Studies run smoothly, Kent takes on freelance writing projects and designs board games.

Mekala joined the Faculty of Graduate Studies in February 2022 as the Recruitment and Training Officer. She leads recruitment and professional development opportunities for Graduate Studies. Mekala’s passion is to help students build a strong community on campus and to develop connections with industry to create new opportunities for students. She brings many years of experience in higher education marketing, student recruitment and engagement. In 2018, Mekala planned an annual multi-cultural event at the University of Winnipeg that won an international award from IABC (International Association of Business Communicators).
An alumna of the University of Winnipeg, Mekala has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Post-degree Marketing Management Diploma. Mekala has many fond memories of the amazing support she received from faculty and staff during her student journey and is excited to be back.
