Learning Management Systems (LMS)

The University implemented the Brightspace platform by D2L (branded Nexus) as the LMS software application for the online delivery of course materials/content. Nexus supports a range of teaching models from hybrid or blended delivery to fully online courses.  Nexus is also used to deliver institutional training for the University Community.

Nexus Course Request:

To request a Nexus course site, please fill out the online form found here: /faculty-staff/nexus-course-request.html

Nexus Support:

  • Contact:  The  from either the:
    - Nexus "Help" navbar menu, or
    - "Find Answers Here" link in the "Nexus End User Support" widget on a course home page
    When: For issues involving the Nexus LMS platform itself, such as Nexus tools and/or functions
    Hours of Operation: 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/year

  • Contact:  Nexus Support
    When: For non-LMS related issues or questions (e.g. accounts, passwords, enrollment of users to Nexus)
    Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
