Global College

The Global College fosters global citizenship and engagement in human rights, Indigenous languages, development practice, and peace and conflict studies.  In addition to our academic programming, students in the Global College are encouraged to discover their role within the local and global community through conferences, lectures, and local and international human rights internships. Our graduates typically obtain work in various humanitarian fields. They pursue careers in law, social advocacy, human rights agencies, government agencies, refugee organizations, and non-profit organizations.  These are the undergraduate programs available through the Global College:

Human Rights

Consider our major in Human Rights – the only one of its kind in Western Canada. Through this multidisciplinary program, you will have an opportunity to explore issues of human rights in a context defined by globalization.
